Explore the ancient rock-hewn city of Hegra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, once the second city of the Nabataean kingdom and an important international trade hub. This fascinating site has more than 110 beautifully preserved tombs including the iconic Tomb of Lihyan, dating back to the first century AD. Later, enjoy stargazing with a Rawi (storyteller guide) and a barbecue dinner at Gharameel, surrounded by imposing rock formations.
 

Visit the ancient site of Dadan, once a sophisticated city on the frankincense route. Visit Dadan, one of the most important discoveries at AlUla – and one which made the world’s archaeological community sit up and take note as this ancient lost city is carefully unearthed. View its famous Lion Tombs and unravel its secrets before visiting Jabal Ikmah with its collection of ancient inscriptions, rock art and petroglyphs.
 
After lunch, tourthe Old Town of AlUla, inhabited from before the 12th century until the 1980s.Wander through the maze oforiginal mudbrick houses, shops and squares, and see the mighty 10th-century fort. Finish with an evening tour of Elephant Rock and other impressive geological formations, before dinner at your hotel.
