Toraja Tour

Upon arriving at Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar, meet your guide and begin the scenic 8-hour drive to Toraja. Pass through Bugis villages with their distinctive traditional houses, stopping along the way for photos. Enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare before continuing to Puncak Lakawan for spectacular views. Arrive in Rantepao in the late afternoon for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Spend the day discovering Toraja's unique culture. Visit Lemo to see the Tahu Tahu statues and hanging graves, followed by Kambira to learn about the baby trees. Stop at Suaya, the hillside graveyard of the Kings of Sangalla and continue to Londa to explore ancient tombs in the rocks. End the day at Kete Kesu, one of Toraja’s oldest villages, featuring Tongkonan houses and traditional rice barns. Enjoy lunch in Rantepao, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.

Head to Batutumonga for panoramic views of Rantepao and its lush valleys. Take a leisurely walk through rice fields and observe the daily life of Torajan people. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Pallawa and Sa’dan, known for their intricate weaving traditions. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Begin the journey back to Makassar. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Pare-Pare before continuing directly to Hasanuddin Airport for your onward flight.
