Orangutan Explorer III

Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun, meet your guide and head to the Kumai River for a 2-hour cruise to Tanjung Harapan. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour to spot wildlife such as crocodiles, orangutans, proboscis monkeys and various bird species. Meals are provided and you'll overnight on the Klotok boat.

Embark on a 1-hour cruise to Pondok Tanggui for the morning orangutan feeding, followed by a short trek. Continue with a 2-hour cruise to Camp Leakey where you’ll observe both wild and semi-wild orangutans. In the evening, take an exciting night trip to explore fireflies. Meals are provided and you will overnight on the Klotok.

Visit the Pesalat area, a reforestation and rehabilitation site dedicated to the reintroduction of orangutans, especially infant ones. Meals are provided and you’ll spend the night aboard the Klotok.

Return to Pangkalan Bun for your transfer to the airport and onward flight to your next destination.
