Board the MS Hamees and settle into your cabin. Enjoy a generous buffet lunch on board, and then visit the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk. There will be a welcome cocktail reception before dinner this evening. Overnight in Aswan.

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus. In the afternoon, take a tour of Edfu Temple; also known as the Temple of Horus, this is one of the most well-preserved ancient Egyptian temples. Continue sailing to Luxor, via Esna. After dinner, enjoy an Oriental show and a Galabia party, where you can dress up in Egyptian costumes. Overnight in Luxor.

This morning you’ll visit the West Bank and see the elaborate tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, with its huge colonnaded terraces. After lunch on board, visit the temples of the East Bank. Karnak Temple is a vast complex dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, and is one of the largest religious structures ever built. Luxor Temple, located near the modern city, is smaller but equally magnificent and is known for its avenue of sphinxes. After dinner this evening there will be a belly dancing show. Overnight in L uxor.
