  • Day 1 : Arrival in Beijing

    Upon arrival in Beijing, your private guide will transfer you to your hotel in the city centre. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure. You may wish to explore the nearby area where there are plenty of local restaurants or simply relax at the hotel before the journey ahead. 

  • Day 2 : Exploring Beijing

    Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, an ancient site where emperors once prayed for a good harvest. The surrounding park is a lively space where locals gather for morning exercises, including Tai Chi and fan dancing. After lunch, head to Tian’anmen Square, a historic landmark known for its significance in China’s modern history. A short walk away lies the Forbidden City (closed on Mondays) the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The intricate architecture and fascinating stories of this royal residence make i t an unmissable experience.End the day with a stroll through Wudaoying Hutong, where you can browse quaint shops, enjoy a coffee and experience the charm of a traditional Beijing neighbourhood.  Read More

  • Day 3 : Great Wall & Summer Palace

    Travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, a scenic and less crowded part of this world-famous monument. Enjoy breathtaking views and explore at your own pace with a round-trip cable car ride included.In the afternoon, return to Beijing and visit the Summer Palace, a vast imperial retreat once used by emperors. The tranquil gardens and lake provide a peaceful contrast to the city’s bustle. 

  • Day 4 : High-Speed Train to Xi’an

    Depart Beijing and take a high-speed train to Xi’an. During the journey you can purchase food onboard or bring your own snacks, as many locals do.Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore or unwind. 

  • Day 5 : Terracotta Warriors & Xi’an City Wall

    Visit the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world. Explore the three excavation pits and learn about their history.In the afternoon, return to Xi’an to visit the ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved in China. Walk or cycle along the top for panoramic views before heading to the vibrant Muslim Quarter where you can sample local delicacies and browse for souvenirs. 

  • Day 6 : Xi’an to Chengdu

    Start the day with a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an iconic Buddhist landmark. Later, transfer to the train station for your journey to Chengdu. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and check into your hotel. 

  • Day 7 : Chengdu & Giant Pandas

    Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see these adorable creatures up close and learn about conservation efforts.Later, explore the historic Wide and Narrow Alleys, a lively area filled with shops, teahouses and street performances. Continue to Chengdu Renmin Park where you can watch locals practising Tai Chi, dancing or playing traditional instruments. You may also enjoy a cup of tea in one of the classic tea houses. 

  • Day 8 : Flight to Shanghai

    Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore at your own pace. 

  • Day 9 : Discovering Shanghai

    Begin with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, home to an extensive collection of cultural relics including ancient bronzes, ceramics and calligraphy.Next, explore the Yu Garden, a beautifully preserved classical Chinese garden. Wander through its serene landscapes and browse the nearby bazaar for souvenirs.Continue to the Bund where colonial architecture meets Shanghai’s modern skyline and take in the city’s impressive waterfront views. Conclude the day with a visit to the Shanghai Tower, offering a panoramic view of the city from one of the tal lest buildings in the world.  Read More

  • Day 10 : Suzhou Day Trip

    Take a day trip to Suzhou, renowned for its classical gardens. Visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its exquisite design.Stroll along Pingjiang Road, a historic street lined with charming cafes, shops and traditional Suzhou architecture.Later, explore the picturesque water town of Tongli where you can wander through ancient streets, admire historic bridges and take a boat ride through the canals.Return to Shanghai in the evening. 

  • Day 11 : Departure from Shanghai

    Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Your memorable journey through China comes to an end.
